AIIA's influential Board of Directors are leaders in the technology business community and set the agenda for the ICT industry in Australia.
The Board of Directors oversees all AIIA operations, develops the National Business Plan, and sets the strategic direction of the Association.
The Australian Information Industry Association is a not-for-profit organisation established as a Company limited by guarantee. It is incorporated in the ACT.
AIIA's governance arrangements are defined by the association's Constitution. The Constitution guides the activities of the Association and defines our direction, priorities and structure.
The Association's Annual General Meetings are held each year in October.
The AIIA Board is composed of 16 directors:
- 10 elected directors
- 5 directors appointed by the Board
- The immediate Past Chairman.
Directors are elected for a period of three years from the date of their election. The Board selects appointed directors and their terms may be up to three years.The Association’s Chair is selected from, and by, members of the Board

Kee Wong is the founder and the Managing Director of e-Centric Innovations, a management and technology consulting company that provides strategic advice and systems integration services in e-business and IT for large enterprises and government in Australia, New Zealand, the United States and SE Asia. Kee is currently the Chairman of the AIIA Board. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Asialink, Australian Services Roundtable (ASR), Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO) and the Advisory Board of the Australia-Malaysia Institute (AMI).

As Managing Director of IBM Australia, he heads a leading supplier of information technology, software and services in Australia and a business with annual revenues of more than $4 billion.

After 23 years of leading innovative software and services companies Russell sold Acumentum in 2007 and since then has been advising, investing and being a board member for a number of ICT businesses. Is Deputy Chair Australian Medical Telehealth Industry Alliance and has been a member of various government advisory groups and taskforces.
