AIIA's influential Board of Directors are leaders in the technology business community and set the agenda for the ICT industry in Australia. 

The Board of Directors oversees all AIIA operations, develops the National Business Plan, and sets the strategic direction of the Association. 

The Australian Information Industry Association is a not-for-profit organisation established as a Company limited by guarantee. It is incorporated in the ACT.

AIIA's governance arrangements are defined by the association's Constitution. The Constitution guides the activities of the Association and defines our direction, priorities and structure. 

The Association's Annual General Meetings are held each year in October. 

The AIIA Board is composed of 16 directors:

• 10 elected directors

• 5 directors appointed by the Board

• The immediate Past Chairman.

Directors are elected for a period of three years from the date of their election. The Board selects appointed directors and their terms may be up to three years.The Association’s Chair is selected from, and by, members of the Board

Chairman Kee Wong Managing Director e-Centric Innovations Kee Wong is the founder and the Managing Director of e-Centric Innovations, a management and technology consulting company that provides strategic advice and systems integration services in e-business and IT for large enterprises and government in Australia, New Zealand, the United States and SE Asia. Kee is currently the Chairman of the AIIA Board. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Asialink, Australian Services Roundtable (ASR), Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO) and the Advisory Board of the Australia-Malaysia Institute (AMI).	Deputy Chairman Andrew Stevens CEO & Managing Director IBM Australia & New Zealand Andrew Stevens was appointed to lead IBM Australia in 2011. Prior to joining IBM in 2002, he served as Chief Operating Officer for PriceWaterhouseCoopers Consulting in Australia and New Zealand & Asia Pacific. As Managing Director of IBM Australia, he heads a leading supplier of information technology, software and services in Australia and a business with annual revenues of more than $4 billion.
Treasurer Russell Yardley Director Algonquin Investments After 7 years with IBM Russell Yardley established one of the first multimedia businesses in Australia in 1985 and from 1994 developed Internet applications. After 23 years of leading innovative software and services companies Russell sold Acumentum in 2007 and since then has been advising, investing and being a board member for a number of ICT businesses. Is Deputy Chair Australian Medical Telehealth Industry Alliance and has been a member of various government advisory groups and taskforces.	Immediate Past Chair John Grant Managing Director Data #3 John Grant is the Chair of the Australian Government’s IT Industry Innovation Council; a member of the Queensland Government’s Ministerial Advisory Group and Smart State Council; member of the Regional Development & Industry Group; and member of the HP Asia Pacific Partner Advisory Group. He served as AIIA National Chair for three years. As MD of Data#3, he heads an Australian ASX listed ICT Solutions Company with over 450 employees.

Warren Anderson Group Vice President Asia Pacific Gartner Australia Warren Anderson has over 23 years experience in ICT, including roles with Fujitsu and Gartner. At Gartner Asia Pacific, he is a leader in the world’s foremost ICT research and advisory company. Currently employing 4000 associates, Gartner serves clients around the world from operations in 85 countries. Gartner Asia Pacific, along with other clients outside the U.S, provided 40% of Gartner’s 2007 $1.2 billion revenue.	Tom Stianos Chief Executive Officer SMS Management & Technology Tom Stianos is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Trustee of the Committee for the Economic Development of Australia and former AIIA Executive Committee Member. He currently serves as CEO of SMS Management & Technology Limited, Australia's largest management services company. The ASX listed SMS solves complex problems and transforms business through Consulting, Technology and Enterprise Solutions.
Kate Burleigh Managing Director  Intel Australia Kate is responsible for Intel’s overall business within Australia and New Zealand and is committed to ensuring Intel adds value to the needs of its customers across all market segments, including enterprise, government, small and medium business and consumer. Kate was appointed to the position in April 2012. Prior to her appointment as Managing Director, Kate spent six years as National Marketing Manager and more recently managed Intel’s Channel Sales Organisation for Australia and New Zealand.	Jackie Korhonen Senior Vice President and Geo Head, Australia & New Zealand Financial Services Head – Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa Infosys ANZ Responsible for Infosys company strategy and leadership across Australasia, Jackie Korhonen brings over 25 years of experience in leadership positions in the technology and business consulting sector  After joining as CEO of Infosys Australia & New Zealand in November 2008, Jackie focused on aligning the Australia and New Zealand business to partner with clients in large transformation opportunities, helping to double the business. In 2011, Jackie assumed the additional role of heading Infosys financial services business in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.
Pip Marlow Managing Director Microsoft Australia Pip Marlow has over 20 years experience in senior technology roles, from the founding team at Agate Technology, a company that grew to be one of Australia's largest storage distributors, to Samsung Information Systems. She currently heads Microsoft's overall business in Australia including responsibility for a staff of more than 700 working in capital cities across Australia, as well as ninemsn and Microsoft's Home and Entertainment Division.	David Webster President, Asia Pacific & Japan EMC David Webster's career spans over 20 years in the Information Technology industry across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. Currently leading EMC Corporation in Asia Pacific & Japan. He previously held the position of Vice President & Managing Director Australia and New Zealand for PeopleSoft Inc and served in Senior roles at Silicon Graphics Computer Systems for 12 years.
Jeyan Jeevaratnam Managing Director Avanade Jayan Jeevaratnam is Managing Director for Avanade, responsible for expansion in the Australia region with the focus on employee success, business growth, customer delivery and service quality. He  was previously Managing Director of AT&T Australia for 4 years and held Senior Executive roles at IBM. He has been in the ICT sector for 25 years based in Australia, Singapore and London.	Robert Hillard National Leader,Technology Consulting Deloitte   Robert Hillard is a Deloitte Partner and leads the Australian Technology Consulting practice.  He has held a range of international consulting leadership roles and provided advice to government and private sector clients worldwide.  Robert guides his clients on preparing for "digital disruption”, the information economy, and the transformation that the technology discipline is going through in every aspect of business and government. Robert is the author of Information-Driven Business (Wiley 2010) and was an original founder of MIKE2.0.
John Paitaridis Managing Director Optus   As the Managing Director of Optus Business, John Paitaridis leads Optus’ enterprise,corporate and government business. He is accountable for all aspects of sales, marketing, products, operations and service delivery. John joined Optus Business in 2012, bringing 20 years’ industry experience with a deep understanding of the telecommunications and ICT needs of enterprise and government customers.  Previously, he was an Executive Director at Telstra responsible for Network Products and Services.	Michael Pym CEO Maat Solutions   Mike Pym is an experienced IT lawyer and entrepreneur, who has a passion for supporting the IT industry and small business. His 25 year career in IT includes being senior in-house lawyer to some of the major IT companies in Australia and the UK as well as running a specialist IT law firm, Pym’s Technology Lawyers.  Mike sits on the Board of a number of companies that provide information and services targeted at SMEs and membership based organisations
Ian White Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director, Australia & New Zealand Oracle Corporation   Ian White was appointed Managing Director of Oracle Australia in June 2005. He is responsible for Oracle’s strategic relationships with customers, governments and partners, as well as identifying long-term growth opportunities in the company’s core focus areas – applications, grid and middleware software.White has worked at Oracle for the last 15 years. In his previous role, he was General Manager, Western Region for Oracle Australia, a position he held for seven years.	Gerard Doyle Managing Director Ajilon Australia   Ger Doyle is the Managing Director of Ajilon, one of Australia’s fastest growing business and technology consultancies. Through this role and his previous as General Manager of Ajilon’s Resources consulting arm, he has successfully grown the company to 1300 employees.  With over 20 years’ experience in large-scale IT and engineering projects across the UK, USA, Europe and Australia, Ger has worked for a diverse range of organisations, including Fortune 500 companies BHP Billiton, Sara Lee, Honeywell and Johnson & Johnson.
