10:30am Sustainability & Green IT
This session will provide an opportunity to explore these matters in detail and discuss their impact on the Asia Pacific region and ICT industry. It will discuss GreenIT approaches from ASOCIO member economies, sharing different perspectives and looking for new ways to collaborate.

1:30 pm Sustainability & Innovation
It is increasingly being acknowledged that ICT can provide a significant transformational role in the innovation process. In this session we will hear from leading Australian experts on what the industry has achieved so far and which emerging trends are will propel the ICT industry into prominence through leadership in this role. With the roll-out of the National Broadband Network, one of Australia’s largest nation-building projects, the opportunities for leveraging this platform for innovation are significant.

3:30 pm Latest GreenIT product and service innovations
Featuring an introduction to AIIA’s free product resources and industry toolkits, followed by presentations from four innovative companies making their mark in the GreenIT space:

• GreenBizCheck – product overview and application Australia's first voluntary Green IT Assessment and Certification Standard called GreenITCheck
• Change2 – providing the cultural and behavioural education tools to assist organisations transition to the low-carbon economy.
• Connection Research - an Australian market research and consultancy company specialising in analysis of sustainability issues and delivering a portal for the top 60 software applications on carbon reporting and management
• InfoActiv - will present their GreenScaping product - a framework that involves identifying, measuring and managing an organisation’s current and forecast environmental and waste activity and requirements.

Cancellation Policy

AIIA is pleased to provide full refunds for cancellations advised within 5 working days of the event. Cancellations after 5 working days but before 3 working days will receive 50% of total amount. There will be no refunds for cancellations within 3 working days of the event. You may substitute a colleague at any time if you are unable to attend. Please note that credit card payments will incur the following service charges as of 1 February 2009: 1.5% MasterCard/Visa and 3.5% American Express/Diners Club
