ACS Tasmania's participation in Careers Week will extend over a 4-week period and involve the ACS, the University of Tasmania and local businesses. The program will apply mainly to 2nd, 3rd and honours year students in ICT disciplines.
- Week 1. UTas Student Affairs branch will provide instruction in writing CVs and job applications using tutorials and online methods.
- Week 2: Several of our state PPPs will ‘advertise’ mock jobs for the students to ‘apply’ for.
- Week 3: Students will prepare applications, to be vetted by UTas Student Affairs staff.
- Week 4: Mock job interview to be conducted by representatives from amongst our PPPs.
