- 98 percent of the Financial Services R&D spend - which totals around $2 billion annually - is dedicated to technology.

in NSW, recording average annual growth rate in total factor income of more
than 14% between 1995-96 and 2005-06.

and is now nearly half the size of London's and more than 40% the size of New

Our AIIA Financial Services Innovation Group in NSW
AIIA has created a special interest group for executives interested in technology-led innovation in the financial services industry designed to assist people in AIIA member
companies to:
- create a shared forum for executives interested in technology-led innovation in financial services.
- identify who are the buyers and buying groups in this sector
- understand buyers’ buying strategies
- facilitate networking between executives in financial services & technology firms
- discuss and create technology led business opportunities in financial services
- ... facilitate deal making!
Information and networking are run in the Sydney CBD. Our Financial Services Innovation sessions typically cover sector developments, business issues,
drivers and
constraints, buyer identification, and sector research.
The networking value of these sessions is high. People from industry participating in this SIG are senior
executives, commercial account and sales managers, BDMs, business analysts,
consultants and lawyers.
