Eddie Geller, CEO - Unique World

Professional biography: Eddie is the Chief Executive Officer of Unique World. Unique World are experts in managing information across the enterprise by delivering innovative solutions that improve collaboration, compliance, customer service and decision making to our clients. Eddie with the help of his tireless executive team sets the company's overall strategic direction and leads initiatives to strengthen Unique World's leadership in delivering world-class products and solutions to clients. Eddie's background is based on sound technical and architectural practices and founded Unique World in January 1999 on the basis of technical expertise. Eddie has been instrumental in Unique World’s success over the years and is an active participant in the IT industry, having very close relationships with key industry players like Microsoft and AIIA. Eddie is Chairman of the NSW.NET ICT Cluster, is a 2nd year member of the AIIA NSW Committee and also a director of the board with AIIA. Reasons for nominating and qualities brought to the board: Through my role of CEO of Unique World Group, a company that operates within the IT industry and employs around 80 people in NSW, ACT and VIC, I see what the IT industry is capable of when I engage with my staff and our clients. I want to play an active role in seeing the ICT Industry grow, prosper and demonstrate its strategic relevance to ALL people and industries. I believe the role of innovation through technology particularly is the cornerstone of business – it is the foundation of how Australia can compete on an international stage through the world no of borders – the internet. Through my involvement of being the Chairman of the NSW.NET cluster and a member of the AIIA NSW Committee I believe I have some great experience and relevance to where AIIA want to go into the future. I would love the chance in playing a key role in ICT today and there is no other organisation that can make ICT succeed like AIIA.
