CoMICTA
The Committee Marketing ICT for Australia known as CoMICTA is a committee with members drawn from the Australian Federal Government, State and Territory Governments, industry associations and research bodies. AIIA represents our members and promotes the Australian ICT industry as an active member and Chair of CoMICTA.
CoMICTA’s objective is to grow and sustain the Australian ICT industry sector by providing a co-ordinated and strategic national approach to:
1. Marketing Australian ICT as a source of innovation and as a leading supplier of world class products and services;
2. Promoting Australia as a location for inward investment in ICT.
The CoMICTA Approach
CoMICTA continues to pursue a co-ordinated and strategic approach to promoting Australia through:
• Communication – individual agencies and associations and research and development centres sharing information about marketing activities including events, missions and inbound delegations. The information should encapsulate forward looking at events and feedback from event attendance.
• Co-operation – identifying areas of common interest (by sharing details about what we are planning to do individually and highlighting the potential for group participation). Share the strategic plans or focus areas for each jurisdiction
• Collaboration – identifying where we can work together under Brand Australia to achieve international recognition.
