AIIA International Visitor Breakfasts
The Association helps AIIA member companies in introducing company senior executives visiting Australian to key people connected to the New South Wales technology and communications technologies (ICT) industry.
Typically, we invite up to 20 people from industry and government to attend an informal working breakfast where the overseas visitor provides a 20 minutes company viewpoint on technological and commercial developments occurring in ICT. This is followed by a general discussion of about 20 minutes.
From our experience, the Australian guests are most interested in meeting company Presidents and Vice Presidents.
BenefitsThese breakfasts have a successful track record.
- the overseas visitor can brief guests on new technological and commercial developments occurring in ICT
- the overseas visitor can be briefed by key people from the Australian ICT industry and NSW Government
- the Australian office of the company receives recognition
- the breakfast can be easily accommodated in the overseas visitor's itinerary
- the invitations are sent from the Association
Invited guestsGuests are limited to no more than 20 people – selected jointly by AIIA and by the member company – to have a mix of industry and government representatives, customers and potential customers.
AIIA undertakes to send out the invitations and RSVPs are handled by AIIA.
Venue suggestionsWhere possible, the host company holds the breakfast in its boardroom. Where this is not possible, the Association approaches the NSW Government to use its NSW Trade and Investment Centre.
