KPMG India's latest thought leadership report "Asia-Oceania Vision 2020: Enabling IT Leadership through Collaboration" is scheduled to be released on 16th December 2009 at a high profile event in Melbourne, Australia. The report has been co-branded with the Asia-Oceania Computing Industry Association (ASOCIO), an umbrella organization of ICT industry associations in 21 countries in the Asia-Oceania region.

By 2020, the Asia-Oceania region is expected to move to a higher growth trajectory, facilitated in large part by the ICT industry. It is set to command a more important place in the world order than ever before. This will require a new development approach and innovative thinking, again facilitated by extensive and constructive use of ICT. Collaboration can play a key role, helping countries in the region build on collective strengths and overcome shortcomings mutually, to grow faster than they would expect to grow in isolation. The report examines this collaboration imperative, in the light of aspirations of individual countries in the IT-BPO services industry by 2020.
