Details

The Australian Information Industry Association in collaboration with Engineers Australia have designed a four-part webinar series that addresses mental health and wellness in the current climate of extreme uncertainty and stress.

The second webinar of the series, “COVID-19 – employment law and working arrangements. What’s Fair?” will address what the current work arrangements mean for employee and employer and what rights either party have now that may differ to “normal” working conditions.

You will be given the rare opportunity to ask questions and, as both Commissioners are deemed to be independent as they’re not engaged by employee or employer, they will provide an unbiased view.

Key takeaways

  • Find out what entitlements you have, specifically in relation to taking leave
  • Whether working from home has any legal implications; and
  • Learn what employees/employers will need to know when businesses re-open
