The Gala celebration dinner provides the grand finale for the event. The National iAwards Gala is the digital industry’s ‘night of nights’ and is an event you must have on your 2019 calendar. Kate Armstrong Smith

Kates team developed a revolutionary new way to model story and are starting to contribute to the next revolution in content creation - emergent interactive narrative which is having an influence on every sector from amateur content creators to Hollywood studios to spacial computing systems.

Currently advising traditional distributors and production companies on complex story world design, as well as working with new media and gaming companies on interactive narrative, Kate and her team have worked with some of the largest content creators in the world including Amazon Studios, Apple Studios, WETA, Magic Leap.

She has over 20 years experience in dynamic content development and media asset management for festivals, TV, AR/VR film and Live Events and is the designer of award-winning audience development schemes, holds an MBA in Screen Business and a Churchill Fellowship for focussing on the unique needs of audiences, and how the growing population of young content creators  are completely changing world culture.

Madeleine Grummet

Madeleine Grummet is a serial entrepreneur, innovation expert, venture capital investor, IDEO Design Thinking consultant, keynote speaker and startup advisor. The News Corp Herald-Sun trained senior journalist and media consultant is the Founder of innovationagency Do Re Me Creative, Founder + CEO of girledworld and recently was Innovation Ecosystem Lead in Telstra’s Melbourne Chief Technology Office.

Madeleine holds a University of Melbourne Master of Entrepreneurship, IDEO Design Thinking Certification, Swinburne University Master of Social Investment, Monash University Bachelor of Arts and a number of startup mentor, advisory and board directorships across the private, government and NFP sectors (NewCo, FYA, muru-D, Wade Institute, Cool Australia).

An accomplished keynote speaker, MC, professional moderator, panellist and print journalist, Madeleine has featured on ABC, 774, 3AW, Channel Nine, Channel 7, Herald Sun, The Age, The Australian, Mama Mia, Engaging Women, Channel 10, ABC News Breakfast, Business Chicks, and designed and hosted events with schools, universities, corporates, brands and global technology companies.
