Four years is a long time in Politics but not for the AIIA’s NSW Digital Government Summit as it enters its fourth year with a restructured format to create a rich and engaging discussion about key topics that affect the state of NSW. Change is in the air and from the shadow of the Department of Finance, Service and Innovation arises the Department of Customer Service with its citizen centric focus. We’re delighted to welcome Charlotte Wood, Director of Policy and Awareness with Cyber Security NSWDawn Routledge, Executive Director, Office of the Secretary | NSW Department of Customer Service and Ian Oppermann, Chief Data Scientist |NSW Department of Customer Service & CEO |NSW Data Analytics Centre, to present on how NSW Government is moving the needle in delivering citizen focused outcomes that makes a real difference to the lives of everyone within the State.

The previous topics of Digital on the InsideDigital from the Outside and Breaking Down Digital Borders identified challenges within NSW Government to become a digital leader not only within Australia but also on the global stage. Collaboration between Industry, Academia and Government has all played their part in enabling this transformation. This year we will hear from our speakers the practical outcomes of this work and how Building a Digitally Inclusive Economy needs to be underpinned by progressive policy, adaptive regulation and innovative procurement all leveraging trusted frameworks.

Insights from these key decision makers will enable AIIA members to tailor conversations and solutions to the heart of the Government’s digital agenda.
