In this talk we discuss the NSW Governments’ Digital Agenda for the next 12 months.
We will uncover critical ICT priorities, the evolving the Customer and Digital Strategy ‘Beyond Digital’ and demonstrate the importance of Cyber Security. We will present the progression of the Digital Restart Fund and the underpinning investment scale needed to enable change in the midst of a crisis to support COVID-19 recovery. We will inform you on the key changes we are implementing to modernise ICT Sourcing, making government interaction seamless.

Deputy Secretary, Digital.nsw and NSW Government Chief Information and Digital Officer
Greg became the Government Chief Information and Digital Officer (GCIDO) in July 2018, making him the NSW Government’s most senior technology executive.
As GCIDO, Greg advocates for technology that enables the NSW Government’s objectives, and fosters sector-wide collaboration on a digital agenda to continue to transform the state into a global technology leader. He is responsible for building digital capacity and integration across the public sector, and over the last 12 months, implementing ‘Beyond Digital’ and adoption of the Digital Restart Fund.
Greg’s extensive career in government technology has included leading the delivery of a multi-agency platform to help protect children at risk with the NSW Department of Family and Community Services, and running NSW Health’s ICT strategy, policy governance and operations as the Chief Information Officer, where he was recognised with the Australian Healthcare CIO of the Year award in 2014.
