Using new types of collaborative Augmented Reality (AR), the Holographic Tour System enables the face-to-face exploration of deeper stories about objects of cultural importance. The first of these is the Catalina Flying Boat, along with associated digitised items from the Powerhouse Museum collection. The system can be easily deployed almost anywhere via a fleet of self-organising smart-glasses.
